On December 6, Bible Island’s H.I.S. Choir celebrated God’s love in their praisentation Back to the Manger. In this musical and dramatic performance, a group of kids travel through time to learn the truth about Christmas and discover where it all began: at the manger in Bethlehem. After the show, Pastor Nate Heitzig invited those who wanted to accept Christ as their Savior to come forward, and we rejoiced as many chose to follow God.
On December 7, Bible Island’s H.I.S. Choir celebrated God’s great love in their praisentation Dr. Newheart’s Christmas Cure, reminding us that we can only find true joy by filling the hole in our heart with the love of Jesus. After the performance, Pastor Nate Heitzig invited those who wanted to accept Christ’s love to come forward, and we rejoiced as many chose to follow Jesus.
On Wednesday, December 9, Bible Island’s Hallelujah Island Singers (H.I.S. Choir) celebrated God’s great love in their praisentation An Out-of-the-Box Christmas. After months of rehearsals and preparations by children’s ministry director Roxie Sharp and over 100 children and their families, the choir joyfully reminded us in an out-of-the-box way that God gave hope to the world by sending His Son, Jesus Christ. Following the performance, Pastor Mat Pirolo explained that Jesus is our hope and He saved us from our sin, and many members of the audience responded to his invitation to receive Christ. H.I.S. Choir wrapped up the evening with desserts and fellowship at a reception in the Hub.
