VBS 2022: Make Waves
Hundreds of kids gathered for this year’s Calvary Kids VBS, Make Waves. They enjoyed a fun-filled week of Bible teaching, crafts, games, snacks, and worship as they discovered the confidence and belonging we have in Jesus. The kids raised funds for Reload Love and gathered nonperishable food items for Feed NM Kids.
VBS 2021: Press Play
Hundreds of kids gathered for this year’s Calvary Kids VBS, Press Play. They enjoyed a fun-filled week of Bible teaching, crafts, games, snacks, and worship as they discovered the confidence and belonging we have in Jesus. The kids raised funds for Reload Love and gathered nonperishable food items for Feed NM Kids. Highlights of the week included wacky hair day, 80s dress up day, water games, and a giant slip and slide.
VBS 2019: Kingdom Chronicles
Over 800 kids joined us for VBS this year, and over 300 made decisions for Christ. During the week, the kids enjoyed making crafts, playing in the water, and other activities as they learned to stand strong in the full armor of God. The kids and their families raised over $2,000 for a Reload Love playground project in Baghouz, Syria, and they donated more than a ton of food items to Feed NM Kids.
VBS 2018: Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus
Over 700 children flooded the Calvary Church campus for this year’s VBS, Shipwrecked. Their week was filled with games, crafts, and worship as they learned what it means to trust Jesus. The kids collected a ton of food for Feed NM Kids and $7,500 for Reload Love’s Uganda playground project.
VBS 2017: Ocean Commotion: Diving into Noah’s Flood
Hundreds of kids gathered for this year’s Bible Island VBS, Ocean Commotion, June 12-16. They enjoyed a fun-filled week of Bible teaching, crafts, games, snacks, and worship as they learned about Noah and the flood. The kids collected $2,800 for Reload Love as well as nonperishable food items for Feed NM Kids. Highlights of the week included crazy hair day, dress like your favorite animal day, water games, and a giant slip and slide.
VBS 2016: Egypt: Joseph’s Journey from Prison to Palace
Over 700 children gathered at Calvary Albuquerque for Bible Island’s VBS 2016, Egypt: Joseph’s Journey from Prison to Palace, June 13-17. Their weeklong adventure was filled with Bible teaching, exciting worship and drama performances, fun games and crafts, and yummy snacks.
VBS 2015: Crocodile Dock VBS
Over 750 kids learned about the faithfulness of God at Bible Island’s Crocodile Dock VBS, June 22-26. Their weeklong adventure was filled with Bible teaching, crafts, games, snacks, and worship. Each day began with worship and a skit where they learned that God cares for them and keeps His promises. The kids also dived into a Bible lesson each day as they studied the life of Moses, learning to “fear not—God rocks!” They put Christ’s love into action through the VBS mission project, making bags of blessings for the homeless and collecting over $1,200 for Reload Love.
